Calling all space, star and planet loving Children!

Embark on a captivating, fun and interactive 90-minute stargazing journey in the spectacular Wentworth Falls Picnic area, run by Astrophysicist PhD Dimitri. This stargazing tour is an ideal family experience that includes storytelling, naked-eye astronomy, tips, telescope viewing of the moon, planets, and stars.

Learn more about the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains, the perfect clear skies to spot shooting stars, the milky way and star clusters. You will walk away knowing how to identify constellations and stars with your naked eye! Observe our amazing Southern Sky Stars through a professional grade telescope with all equipment included.

Your incredible host: Dimitri loves sharing his passion, the stars which began when he was a child. Dimitri has extensive experience working with children and his enthusiasm is contagious (expect your child to want to follow in Dimitris footsteps for a career in astronomy). He has 10+ years’ experience in astronomy guiding including an astronomy guide at Sydney Observatory.

Enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate or fresh drink whilst you are immersed into the wonders of the night sky.

Age guidelines: children 6 years of age and over. Child rate is 4 - 12 years of age. 

Blue Mountain Stargazing are following covid-19 social distancing guidelines and ask that participants wear a mask where possible.

Please note: Stargazing occurs every night during NSW School Holidays at sunset.

Stargazing tours are weather dependent, if there is cloud cover, meaning no visible stars your tour might be cancelled. If this occurs, you will be able to re-book.

This is an all-ages tour, excellent for the whole family.
